Collect Data

In order to optimize your results you need to be able to collect data and from all of your marketing initiatives even if it is an unlikely source like a print ad, track it!

Analyze Data

Look at all the data you have collected and see what insights it reveals.  There is a story that is being told to you and you need to uncover it, share it and most important, learn from it.

Take Action

You know the results, what you did right and what you need to improve upon.  Now you need to take action across all your marketing channels based on what you have learned.

Wash & Repeat

You know the steps, you know what needs fixing and what is working because you can measure it.  Use the process and repeat it daily, weekly, monthly, whatever it takes!

Optimize Everything If you have money to throw away, skip the optimization. If you’re like most businesses, every percentage point makes a substantial difference.  Optimization is not only for websites, though your website is probably front and center, but you also have to measure and optimize click-through ratios, actions, conversions, costs per click, or cost per acquisition.
