DryAway: E-Commerce & Product Selection
Custom product selection, backorder controls, checkout details and shopping-event integrations support a complete retail buying experience.
Work directly with Brian Bateman in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Serving businesses locally and nationwide.
Business need
A specialty product has to earn understanding before it earns a sale. DryAway needed to show how its laundry drying system works, explain installation considerations, and help shoppers compare configurations without losing their place in the buying process.
The website had to connect product education with a usable catalog. A visitor discovering DryAway for the first time needs different information from someone who already knows the product and is ready to compare options and pricing.
Work delivered
DOYJO built and refined a WordPress e-commerce experience around those decisions, bringing product presentation, shopping structure, and ongoing support together.
- Product-focused pages that combine explanatory copy, photography, and video.
- Catalog categories and product cards that organize the available configurations.
- Product options and pricing presented alongside the information shoppers need to evaluate them.
- Search-oriented page and content structure that supports product discovery.
- Managed hosting, backups, security, and continuing website support.
What the system supports
Shoppers can move from seeing the product in use to reviewing configurations and following the appropriate purchase path. Product education and the catalog form a connected experience, so the business can explain the value of a less familiar product while still making ordering accessible.
For DryAway, the same foundation supports product updates and continued e-commerce development. This project shows how website structure can address a specific sales challenge: helping buyers understand what they are choosing before asking them to purchase.
Custom plugins for product selection and availability
The custom product finder guides shoppers through frames, depth, height, material and color to identify an appropriate DryAway system. Related selection logic is also used on the dealer site, connecting retail product education with wholesale ordering.
A custom backorder plugin provides product and variation settings, bulk editing, dates and availability messages. Other extensions add checkout details, Gutenberg taxonomy grids and behavior-based request controls. Custom GA4 and Pinterest shopping-event integrations work alongside the existing tracking setup.
This work connects custom WooCommerce development, product selection, inventory and backorder controls and conversion tracking within one store.
