Weence project preview

Weence is a place for medical and dental professionals to share their knowledge and advice. The platform brings that knowledge together with health alerts and practical information for parents and families.

Useful information, organized around the reader

A health publishing website needs to make relevant information easy to find. Weence separates health news, food safety and recalls, parenting and family topics, and practical resources into clear navigation paths. Article cards and topic filters help readers explore the subjects that matter to them.

A publishing system that stays current

The WordPress platform supports ongoing publishing across different topics. Recent work aligned the homepage and topic grids with the correct categories and publication dates, so readers see the newest published articles first. Publishing workflows include source checks, duplicate checks, and scheduling controls.

Supporting a growing publication

As of September 12, 2026, Weence had reached 1.4 million visitors for the year, already matching its 1.4 million visitors across all of 2025. Traffic figures reported by site owner Brian Bateman.

Managed hosting and caching support the large collection of content behind the site. Cache refreshes tied to publishing help new articles appear while reducing repeated database work for pages that have not changed.

Weence brings website design, content organization, publishing tools, and ongoing technical care together around a clear purpose: helping professionals share useful knowledge and helping readers find health and family information.

Custom provider discovery and directory operations

Weence also operates a provider directory supported by custom indexed discovery, listing context, claim routing and payment-dependent account controls. Paid Directory Onboarding connects new-account access with a paid listing or claim invoice in the existing GeoDirectory and GetPaid stack.

Custom claim routes guide visitors toward established listings, while duplicate-listing redirects, indexed archive controls and sitemap policies support the wider directory structure. A business-hours compatibility helper addresses a specific listing-editing problem.

Article Pathways connects provider pages with health-article categories. Smart Related Control, Dynamic Term Grid, Local Headlines and content-to-embedding synchronization support navigation and content context. Targeted rendering and query-cache tools help maintain the publishing and directory experience.

This work demonstrates directory development, custom WordPress search, paid directory workflows and a coordinated custom plugin suite.
