The Impatient Kitchen: WordPress Coaching
Managed website care and one-on-one screen-share coaching help a local recipe creator build and maintain her own online presence.

The challenge
A local recipe creator wanted to share recipe videos and build an online audience, but needed a practical starting point and guidance rather than a large formal web project.
The solution
DOYJO provided WordPress hosting and a clean starting site, then used a few Zoom screen-share sessions to teach the creator how to build the site she wanted. DOYJO continues to support hosting, security, updates, and backups as a community-minded project.
Current website view
The current homepage introduces the creator’s approachable cooking style with food photography, recipe navigation and a growing article feed. It shows the site developed from the hosting and WordPress guidance described in the original project.
Recipe content with smaller initial assets
We improved responsive hero images, local font delivery, heading structure and contrast. The changes support a clearer first view while preserving the recipe publication and its content links.
The current phone experience
The phone layout places the publication name, compact navigation and cooking introduction above the recipe imagery. The copy remains the starting point while the desktop photograph becomes supporting background context.
DOYJO provided a WordPress starting point, hosting and practical screen-sharing guidance so the creator could build the site she wanted. Continuing support covers the underlying hosting, updates, security and backups.
This current capture shows the result in use without claiming that DOYJO authored every recipe or designed every later content choice. The project illustrates how technical support and training can help a creator maintain an independent publishing presence.

The results
Creators can get started without overbuilding when they have the right foundation and patient guidance. In this case, the value was not a large commercial build; it was helping someone learn, publish, and keep the site safely hosted.

We tested the current website after the October 16 optimization work. Lighthouse 13.5.0 ran in fresh Chrome Incognito sessions with extensions disabled. The screenshots and scores below come from the same recorded runs.
