Tennies Hardware of West Bend and Appleton Wisconsin purchased a Java feed of over 1,000,000 parts for lawn mowers, chain saws, leaf blowers, snowblowers, and everything else powered by a small engine on their Small Engine Parts Warehouse website (SEPW.com).

The data was outside of our control, so while the parts pages could not be optimized, the category pages could be optimized for great search engine results.

A significant contributor to search engine rankings is the level of social engagement that a site can create, so Web Design XTC created a Lawn Mower Racer’s group on Facebook and garnered over 25,000 fans in 5 months and increased Small Engine Warehouse’s business page from 250 fans to over 50,000 fans. Most of the members of the group were small engine repair shops that used their skills to create fast racing mowers and promoted their names, so this was a perfect target market.

In addition to optimizing all of the categories on the site and dramatically increasing social engagement with small engine repair shops, Web Design XTC went to work on managing the client’s Google Ads account.
